Future Innerleithen

1. The main event will be the Community Futures event on Sat. 13th June 2009 at the Innerleithen Memorial Hall from 11am to 3pm where residents can drop in to view and comment on the action plans. Refreshments will be available along with entertainment throughout the day. Local clubs, societies and other organisations will have stalls advertising their activities and events. We encourage everyone to attend as we want to arrive at the best community action plans for Innerleithen prior to applying for funding to make them reality.

2. Survey form distribution/collection will take place from Monday 9th March till Mon 23rd March.

3. Community interest group interviews will take place from March to May 2009.

4. Community profile data will be collected during Feb to March 2009.

5. All data will be analysed and reports produced by May 2009.

6. Produce a Community Action Plan from the Community Futures event that will be distributed to every house in the EH44 post code area. This will now happen in the middle of September 2009.

7. Implement separate projects from the Community Action plan. The pace of these will depend on the amount of local support including volunteers and funding.
